Just thirty kilometres from Melbourne’s distribution centre and transport docks, Fresh Select farmers take advantage of the soils of Werribee South as well as across town in Bairnsdale, where we capitalise on the cooler summer climate.
Head north and you will find Fresh Select farmers in one of Australia’s richest farming areas. Gatton, in southeast Queensland, is favoured by top chefs and foodies for its quality local produce. Toowoomba also grows premium produce all year round on its top grade agricultural land.
Ensuring we can offer produce no matter what season, Fresh Select’s South Australian crops are grown in the Adelaide Hills around Mount Barker, a mild climate area rich in farming tradition.
We only use approved HACCP accredited transport companies to make sure our crops stay fresh throughout their journey to consumers.
We use food grade vehicles with the latest refrigeration technology and full GPS tracking to monitor the speed of delivery and control the temperature. From our refrigerated storage facility, Fresh Select produce is loaded into optimum temperature transport before heading straight out to distribution centres across Australia and beyond.
